Royal Highlanders (Simi Valley, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Moorpark Musketeers (Moorpark, CA), 78-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Royal upgrades its record to 21-1 on the season. The Highlanders travel to Camarillo (Camarillo, CA) to play the Scorpions in a bout on Friday, January 12. The Scorpions go into the bout with a record of 10-8. Camarillo lost 65-36 in their recent league bout against Simi Valley (Simi Valley, CA)

Next up, the Musketeers play the Oak Park Eagles (Oak Park, CA) in a bout, on Friday, January 12. Moorpark will attempt to upgrade on its 7-11 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 10-4 record after their 63-40 league loss to Royal (Simi Valley, CA).
