With the victory, North Duplin improves its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Neuse Charter (Smithfield, NC) to play the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 0-10. Neuse Charter lost 55-28 in their recent non-league challenge against Franklin Academy (Wake Forest, NC)

Next up, the Gators play the North Johnston Panthers (Kenly, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 12. Spring Creek will attempt to improve on its 0-11 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 38-26 non-league loss to Rosewood (Goldsboro, NC).
