The North Thurston Rams (Lacey, WA) basketball nipped the host Timberline Blazers (Lacey, WA), 56-55 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Rams (7-2) will now prepare for their test against Lincoln (Tacoma, WA). The Abes go into the non-league test with a 5-6 record. In their last test, Lincoln got by Spanaway Lake (Spanaway, WA), 71-60, in a league test.

The Blazers now own a 9-4 record. They play next when they host River Ridge for a non-league test on Friday, January 12. Timberline will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 67-51 non-league win over Yelm (Yelm, WA). The Hawks record now stands at 7-4.
