In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Trinity Bulldogs (Trinity, NC) basketball squad edged the host Providence Grove Patriots (Franklinville, NC), by a count of 54-51.

The Bulldogs (6-7) will now prepare for their outing against Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC). The Wildcats go into the non-league outing with a 3-5 record.

The Patriots now hold a 2-10 record. They play next when they travel to Randleman for a non-league outing on Friday, January 12.
