The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 8-2. Polytechnic won 9-1 in their recent league bout against Providence (Burbank, CA)

In their next game, the Pioneers battle the Chadwick Dolphins (Palos Verdes Peninsula, CA) in a Prep bout, on Friday, January 12. Providence will attempt to move on its 4-6 season record. The Dolphins go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to Bishop Montgomery (Torrance, CA).
