The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Alliance Aviators (Alliance, OH) and the visiting Marlington Dukes (Alliance, OH), observed Alliance's basketball team overcome Marlington by a margin of 61-44.

The Aviators (6-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Wooster (Wooster, OH). The Generals come into the non-league challenge with a 7-4 record. In their last challenge, Wooster defeated Madison Comprehensive (Mansfield, OH), 59-47, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Dukes battle the Sandy Valley Cardinals (Magnolia, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Marlington will attempt to better on its 7-5 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 5-7 record after their 71-53 league loss to Malvern (Malvern, OH).
