Georgia High School Basketball - Appling County overwhelmed by Tattnall County

In Friday's league test, the Tattnall County Warriors (Reidsville, GA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Appling County Pirates (Baxley, GA), by a final score of 89-48.

Next, the Warriors clash with the Toombs County Bulldogs (Lyons, GA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, January 11. Tattnall County will attempt to upgrade on its 12-2 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 6-5 record after their 54-42 league loss to Swainsboro (Swainsboro, GA).

The Pirates (5-9) will now prepare for their test against Crisp County (Cordele, GA). The Cougars come into the AA Region 3 test with a 11-4 record. In their last test, Crisp County was overwhelmed by Sumter County (Americus, GA), 53-46, in a non-league test.
