In Friday's league contest, the visiting Elkmont Red Devils basketball team scored a big 63-40 triumph over the Asbury Rams.
The Red Devils (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Ardmore (Ardmore, AL). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 3-12 record. In their last contest, Ardmore was trounced by East Limestone (Athens, AL), 79-45, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Rams battle the Guntersville Wildcats (Guntersville, AL) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Asbury will attempt to better on its 3-15 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 14-6 record after their 87-62 league win over Fairview (Cullman, AL).
