In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Kittson Central Bearcats basketball team scored a big 70-34 triumph over the Badger/Greenbush-Middle River Gators.

The Bearcats (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Northern Freeze co-op [Marshall County Central/Tri-County] (Newfolden, MN). The Northern Freeze go into the non-league contest with a 5-9 record.

In their next game, the Gators battle the Lake of the Woods Bears (Baudette, MN) in a A Section 8 contest, on Sunday, January 12. Badger/Greenbush-Middle River will attempt to better on its 0-12 season record.
