In Friday's league contest, the host Berwick Bulldogs basketball team scored a big 57-34 win over the Lake-Lehman Knights.

The Bulldogs (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Hanover Area (Hanover Township, PA). The Hawkeyes come into the Wyoming Valley 2 contest with a 3-8 record. In their last contest, Hanover Area was trounced by Wyoming Area (Exeter, PA), 61-33, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Knights battle the Tunkhannock Tigers (Tunkhannock, PA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Lake-Lehman will attempt to better on its 4-8 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 5-9 record after their 49-19 non-league win over MMI Preparatory School (Freeland, PA).
