In Friday's league contest, the visiting Bishop Guilfoyle Marauders basketball team scored a good 63-51 triumph over the Tyrone Golden Eagles.
The Marauders (9-3) will now prepare for their contest against Trinity (Camp Hill, PA). The Shamrocks go into the non-league contest with a 9-2 record. In their last contest, Trinity topped Steelton-Highspire (Steelton, PA), 81-47, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Golden Eagles confront the Central Dragons (Martinsburg, PA) in a Laurel Highlands contest, on Saturday, January 11. Tyrone will attempt to better on its 8-2 season record. The Dragons go into the contest with a 4-2 record after their 56-50 league loss to Hollidaysburg (Hollidaysburg, PA).
