The Boling Bulldogs basketball team scored 50 points and limited the host Brazos Cougars to 45 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Friday.

The Bulldogs now have a 13-3 record. They play next when they travel to Hempstead for a 3A Region III District 24 game on Tuesday, January 14. Boling will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 48-40 league loss to East Bernard (East Bernard, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 2-11.

With the loss, Brazos falls to 10-10 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Van Vleck (Van Vleck, TX) to confront the Leopards in a 3A Region III District 24 game on Tuesday, January 14. The Leopards go into the game with a record of 2-9. Van Vleck lost 90-46 in their recent league game against Hitchcock (Hitchcock, TX)
