New Jersey High School Basketball - Parsippany nips Boonton

In Friday's league contest, the host Parsippany Redhawks basketball team scored a close 49-44 win over the Boonton Bombers.

The Redhawks (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Whippany Park (Whippany, NJ). The Wildcats come into the Northwest Jersey - Independence contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Whippany Park edged Morris County Tech (Denville, NJ), 63-41, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Bombers battle the Dover Tigers (Dover, NJ) in a Northwest Jersey - Independence contest, on Monday, January 13. Boonton will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 7-2 record after their 44-40 non-league win over Newton (Newton, NJ).
