In Friday's league contest, the visiting Briarfield Academy Rebels basketball team scored a big 68-16 win over the Central School Pioneers.
The Rebels (8-1) will now prepare for their contest against Humphreys Academy (Belzoni, MS). The Rebels come into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record.
In their next game, the Pioneers battle the Claiborne Academy Rebels (Haynesville, LA) in a MAIS 2A District 4 contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Central School will attempt to better on its 0-5 season record.
