The Gold Beach Panthers basketball team scored 50 points and limited the host Brookings-Harbor Bruins to 41 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now possess a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Myrtle Point for a 2A Sunset game on Tuesday, January 14. Gold Beach will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 51-34 non-league loss to Central Linn (Halsey, OR). The Bobcats record now stands at 3-12.

With the loss, Brookings-Harbor falls to 1-12 on the campaign. The Bruins host Rogue River (Rogue River, OR) to confront the Chieftains in a 3A Southern Oregon game on Tuesday, January 14. The Chieftains go into the game with a record of 1-12. Rogue River lost 52-24 in their recent league game against Sutherlin (Sutherlin, OR)
