Burns Hilanders (Burns, OR) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Umatilla Vikings (Umatilla, OR), 54-35 in a league match.

With the victory, Burns advances its record to 9-3 on the year. The Hilanders travel to Sisters (Sisters, OR) to meet the Outlaws in a non-league match on Saturday, January 11. The Outlaws come into the test with a record of 6-6. Sisters lost 56-53 in their recent non-league test against Douglas (Winston, OR)

The Vikings (10-4) will now prepare for their test against Riverside (Boardman, OR). The Pirates come into the 3A Eastern Oregon test with a 12-4 record.
