The Central Decatur Cardinals basketball squad (Leon, IA), was crushed 56-20 in Friday's league battle with the host Southwest Valley (Corning, IA)
With the victory, Southwest Valley advances its record to 7-5 on the year. The travel to Lenox (Lenox, IA) to meet the Tigers in a Pride of Iowa battle on Monday, January 13. The Tigers enter the battle with a record of 4-6. Lenox won 48-38 in their recent league battle against Wayne (Corydon, IA)
The Cardinals now own a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Davis County for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 11. Central Decatur will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 68-54 non-league win over Moravia (Moravia, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-0.
