In Friday's league contest, the visiting Eau Claire North Huskies basketball team scored a big 73-34 win over the Chippewa Falls Cardinals.

The Huskies (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against River Falls (River Falls, WI). The Wildcats come into the Big Rivers contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, River Falls smashed Hudson (Hudson, WI), 68-67, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Cardinals battle the Altoona Railroaders (Altoona, WI) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 13. Chippewa Falls will attempt to better on its 0-10 season record. The Railroaders come into the contest with a 3-6 record after their 61-53 league loss to St. Croix Central (Hammond, WI).
