In Friday's non-league contest, the host Seneca Valley Screamin' Eagles basketball team scored a good 61-50 triumph over the Clarksburg Coyotes.
The Screamin' Eagles (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Wootton (Rockville, MD). The Patriots go into the non-league contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Wootton was toppled by Whitman (Bethesda, MD), 80-52, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Coyotes confront the Gaithersburg Trojans (Gaithersburg, MD) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Clarksburg will attempt to better on its 1-6 season record. The Trojans go into the contest with a 1-7 record after their 85-46 league loss to Northwest (Germantown, MD).
