Texas High School Basketball - Ennis can't get by Corsicana

The Ennis Lions basketball squad (Ennis, TX), was nudged 56-50 in Friday's league battle with the host Corsicana Tigers (Corsicana, TX)

With the victory, Corsicana advances its record to 6-16 on the year. The Tigers travel to Crandall (Crandall, TX) to meet the Pirates in a 5A Region II District 15 battle on Tuesday, January 14. The Pirates enter the battle with a record of 7-15. Crandall lost 81-56 in their recent league battle against Red Oak (Red Oak, TX)

The Lions now own a 10-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kaufman for a 5A Region II District 15 battle on Tuesday, January 14. Ennis will meet a Lions squad coming off a 58-57 league loss to Midlothian Heritage (Midlothian, TX). The Lions record now stands at 6-13.
