Virginia High School Basketball - Tallwood sneaks past Cox

The Tallwood Lions basketball team scored 52 points and limited the visiting Cox Falcons to 49 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.
The Lions now possess a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to Western Branch for a non-league game on Saturday, January 11. Tallwood will play a Bruins team coming off a 74-54 non-league loss to Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA). The Bruins record now stands at 3-5.
With the loss, Cox falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Salem (Virginia Beach, VA) to play the Sundevils in a Beach game on Tuesday, January 14. The Sundevils go into the game with a record of 3-6. Salem won 54-38 in their recent league game against Ocean Lakes (Virginia Beach, VA)
