Illinois High School Basketball - Kankakee routs Crete-Monee

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Kankakee Kays basketball team scored a big 65-42 win over the Crete-Monee Warriors.

The Kays (12-2) will now prepare for their contest against Rich Township (Olympia Fields, IL). The Raptors come into the Southland contest with a 11-4 record. In their last contest, Rich Township smashed Erie (Erie, PA), 79-44, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Warriors battle the Lyons Lions (LaGrange, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 11. Crete-Monee will attempt to better on its 13-6 season record. The Lions come into the contest with a 7-6 record after their 56-50 non-league win over Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL).
