Georgia High School Basketball - Pierce County beaten by Crisp County

The Crisp County Cougars were victorious over the host Pierce County Bears basketball squad by a final score of 51-38 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Cougars clash with the Appling County Pirates (Baxley, GA) in a AA Region 3 outing, on Saturday, January 11. Crisp County will attempt to upgrade on its 12-4 season record. The Pirates enter the outing with a 5-8 record after their 52-50 non-league win over Portal (Portal, GA).

The Bears (3-10) will now prepare for their outing against McIntosh County Academy (Darien, GA). The Buccaneers enter the non-league outing with a 12-3 record. In their last outing, McIntosh County Academy ran past Screven County (Sylvania, GA), 72-50, in a league outing.
