Nevada High School Basketball - Spring Creek triumphant over Dayton

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Spring Creek Spartans (Spring Creek, NV) and the visiting Dayton Dust Devils (Dayton, NV), observed Spring Creek's basketball team overwhelm Dayton by a score of 64-42.

The Spartans (11-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Fernley (Fernley, NV). The Vaqueros come into the 3A Northern - East challenge with a 10-4 record. In their last challenge, Fernley trounced Dayton (Dayton, NV), 54-30, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Dust Devils encounter the Elko Indians (Elko, NV) in a 3A Northern - East challenge, on Saturday, January 11. Dayton will attempt to improve on its 10-4 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 7-7 record after their 60-39 league win over Lowry (Winnemucca, NV).
