The Crusaders (6-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Wayne Academy (Waynesboro, MS). The Jaguars come into the MAIS 5A District 2 challenge with a 12-6 record. In their last challenge, Wayne Academy was tipped by Simpson Academy (Mendenhall, MS), 62-46, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Patriots encounter the Leake Academy Rebels (Madden, MS) in a MAIS 5A District 2 challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. East Rankin Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-13 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 15-6 record after their 63-39 league win over Lamar (Meridian, MS).
