El Paso Tigers (El Paso, TX) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Jefferson Silver Foxes (El Paso, TX), 51-27 in a league challenge.

The Tigers (13-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Burges (El Paso, TX). The Mustangs come into the 5A Region I District 1 challenge with a 11-13 record. In their last challenge, Burges was routed by Andress (El Paso, TX), 64-38, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Silver Foxes encounter the Canutillo Eagles (Canutillo, TX) in a 5A Region I District 1 challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Jefferson will attempt to improve on its 7-16 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 16-6 record after their 64-45 league loss to Chapin (El Paso, TX).
