Next, the Eagles face the Belton Tigers (Belton, TX) in a 5A Region II District 16 outing, on Tuesday, January 14. Ellison will attempt to upgrade on its 17-5 season record. The Tigers enter the outing with a 21-4 record after their 57-50 league win over Chaparral (Killeen, TX).
The Trojans (18-6) will now prepare for their outing against Waco (Waco, TX). The Lions enter the 5A Region II District 16 outing with a 7-17 record. In their last outing, Waco was dropped by Lake Belton (Temple, TX), 57-42, in a league outing.
