Texas High School Basketball - Westbury Christian knocks off First Baptist Christian

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Westbury Christian Wildcats (Houston, TX) and the visiting First Baptist Christian Warriors (Pasadena, TX), observed Westbury Christian's basketball team overcome First Baptist Christian by a margin of 63-44.

The Wildcats (7-14) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Francis Episcopal (Houston, TX). The Wolves come into the TAPPS 4A District 6 challenge with a 17-7 record. In their last challenge, St. Francis Episcopal defeated Rosehill Christian (Tomball, TX), 81-50, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Warriors battle the St. Thomas Episcopal Saints (Houston, TX) in a TAPPS 4A District 6 challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. First Baptist Christian will attempt to better on its 8-4 season record. The Saints come into the challenge with a 5-10 record after their 82-65 league loss to Northland Christian (Houston, TX).
