Michigan High School Basketball - Mancelona overwhelms Forest Area

The Mancelona Ironmen basketball team scored 67 points and limited the visiting Forest Area Warriors to 28 in the Ironmen league triumph on Friday.
The Ironmen now have a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Bellaire for a Ski-Valley game on Tuesday, January 14. Mancelona will confront a Eagles team coming off a 77-41 league win over Onaway (Onaway, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 9-1.
With the loss, Forest Area falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Johannesburg-Lewiston (Johannesburg, MI) to confront the Cardinals in a Ski-Valley game on Tuesday, January 14. The Cardinals go into the game with a record of 0-8.
