Texas High School Basketball - Frenship holds off San Angelo Central

In Friday's league contest, the host Frenship Tigers basketball team scored a close 75-69 triumph over the San Angelo Central Bobcats.

The Tigers (16-7) will now prepare for their contest against Midland (Midland, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 6A Region I District 2 contest with a 9-16 record. In their last contest, Midland was tipped by Midland Legacy (Midland, TX), 62-42, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bobcats confront the Odessa Bronchos (Odessa, TX) in a 6A Region I District 2 contest, on Tuesday, January 14. San Angelo Central will attempt to better on its 19-6 season record. The Bronchos go into the contest with a 12-13 record after their 58-50 league loss to Permian (Odessa, TX).
