Kansas High School Basketball - Great Bend victorious over Garden City

In Friday's league contest, the host Great Bend Panthers basketball team scored a good 71-60 triumph over the Garden City Buffaloes.

The Panthers (7-1) will now prepare for their contest against Hutchinson (Hutchinson, KS). The Salthawks go into the non-league contest with a 3-1 record.

In their next game, the Buffaloes confront the Liberal Redskins (Liberal, KS) in a Western contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Garden City will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record. The Redskins go into the contest with a 2-6 record after their 69-47 non-league loss to Woodward (Woodward, OK).
