The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Glenbard South Raiders (Glen Ellyn, IL) and the visiting Ridgewood Rebels (Norridge, IL), observed Glenbard South's basketball team overcome Ridgewood by a score of 64-53.

The Raiders (8-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Aurora East (Aurora, IL). The Tomcats come into the Upstate Eight challenge with a 4-15 record. In their last challenge, Aurora East dropped by Minooka (Minooka, IL), 67-36, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Rebels battle the Glenbrook North Spartans (Northbrook, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 11. Ridgewood will attempt to improve on its 9-7 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 9-6 record after their 64-36 league loss to New Trier (Winnetka, IL).
