In Friday's league contest, the host Spring Grove Lions basketball team scored a big 60-35 triumph over the Grand Meadow Superlarks.
The Lions (4-10) will now prepare for their contest against Mabel-Canton (Mabel, MN). The Cougars go into the A Section 1 contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Mabel-Canton was trounced by Houston (Houston, MN), 82-63, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Superlarks battle the Southland Rebels (Adams, MN) in a A Section 1 contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Grand Meadow will attempt to better on its 2-8 season record.
