New Mexico High School Basketball - Grants fells Miyamura

The Grants Pirates basketball team scored 81 points and limited the host Miyamura Patriots to 63 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Friday.
The Pirates now possess a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to Gallup for a non-league game on Saturday, January 11. Grants will confront a Bengals team coming off a 51-48 non-league win over Thoreau (Thoreau, NM). The Bengals record now stands at 6-6.
With the loss, Miyamura falls to 1-11 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM) to confront the Elks/Elkettes in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 14. The Elks/Elkettes go into the game with a record of 11-4. Pojoaque Valley won 70-45 in their recent non-league game against Shiprock (Shiprock, NM)
