California High School Basketball - Gunderson knocks off San Jose

In Friday's league contest, the host Gunderson Grizzlies basketball team scored a good 48-35 win over the San Jose Bulldogs.
The Grizzlies (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Yerba Buena (San Jose, CA). The Aztec Warriors come into the Blossom Valley - West Valley contest with a 0-15 record. In their last contest, Yerba Buena dropped by Hill (San Jose, CA), 72-56, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Harbor Pirates (Santa Cruz, CA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 11. San Jose will attempt to better on its 1-11 season record. The Pirates come into the contest with a 4-7 record after their 58-37 non-league loss to Ann Sobrato (Morgan Hill, CA).
