Hackettstown Tigers (Hackettstown, NJ) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Jefferson Township Falcons (Oak Ridge, NJ), 57-52 in a league match.
With the victory, Hackettstown advances its record to 5-2 on the year. The Tigers host Morris Knolls (Rockaway, NJ) to meet the Golden Eagles in a non-league match on Saturday, January 11. The Golden Eagles enter the match with a record of 3-4. Morris Knolls lost 77-67 in their recent league match against Delbarton (Morristown, NJ)
The Falcons now own a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wallkill Valley for a Northwest Jersey - Freedom match on Tuesday, January 14.
