Texas High School Basketball - Harlingen South victorious over Pace

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Harlingen South Hawks basketball team scored a good 51-32 triumph over the Pace Vikings.
The Hawks (11-11) will now prepare for their contest against Weslaco East (Weslaco, TX). The Wildcats go into the 5A Region IV District 32 contest with a 20-4 record. In their last contest, Weslaco East topped Mercedes (Mercedes, TX), 60-53, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Vikings confront the Edcouch-Elsa Yellowjackets (Edcouch, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 32 contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Pace will attempt to better on its 8-11 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the contest with a 9-8 record after their 80-65 league win over Rivera (Brownsville, TX).
