The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Tartan Titans (Oakdale, MN) and the visiting Hill-Murray Pioneers (Maplewood, MN), observed Tartan's basketball team overcome Hill-Murray by a margin of 70-55.

The Titans (10-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Woodbury (Woodbury, MN). The Royals come into the AAAA Section 4 challenge with a 6-6 record. In their last challenge, Woodbury dropped by Cretin-Derham Hall (St. Paul, MN), 71-57, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Pioneers battle the South St. Paul Packers (South St. Paul, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 15. Hill-Murray will attempt to better on its 4-6 season record. The Packers come into the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 77-62 league win over Two Rivers (Mendota Heights, MN).
