Next, the Owls encounter the Jourdanton Indians/Squaws (Jourdanton, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 28 test, on Tuesday, January 14. Hondo will attempt to improve on its 7-16 season record. The Indians/Squaws come into the test with a 13-7 record after their 93-55 league loss to Lytle (Lytle, TX).

The Mustangs (6-12) will now prepare for their test against Crystal City (Crystal City, TX). The Javelinas come into the 3A Region IV District 28 test with a 11-7 record. In their last test, Crystal City bounced Cotulla (Cotulla, TX), 76-36, in a league test.
