California High School Basketball - South Tahoe knocks off Hug

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the South Tahoe Vikings (South Lake Tahoe, CA) and the visiting Hug Hawks (Reno, NV), observed South Tahoe's basketball team overcome Hug by a score of 58-44.
The Vikings (11-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Wooster (Reno, NV). The Colts come into the 3A Northern - West challenge with a 4-12 record. In their last challenge, Wooster dropped by Churchill County (Fallon, NV), 58-55, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Hawks battle the Sparks Railroaders (Sparks, NV) in a 3A Northern - West challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Hug will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record. The Railroaders come into the challenge with a 2-14 record after their 65-17 league loss to North Valleys (Reno, NV).
