The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the McKenzie Tigers (McKenzie, AL) and the visiting Kinston Bulldogs (Kinston, AL), observed McKenzie's basketball team overcome Kinston by a score of 68-52.
The Tigers (10-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Georgiana (Georgiana, AL). The Panthers come into the 1A Area 3 challenge with a 14-4 record. In their last challenge, Georgiana defeated Elba (Elba, AL), 70-52, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Emmanuel Christian Warriors (Dothan, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 13. Kinston will attempt to improve on its 4-13 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 0-7 record after their 119-11 non-league loss to Pleasant Home (Andalusia, AL).
