In Friday's league contest, the host KIPP Austin Collegiate Cardinals basketball team scored a big 52-27 triumph over the NYOS Charter Jaguars.
The Cardinals (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Idea Pflugerville (Pflugerville, TX). The Wizards go into the Freelance contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Idea Pflugerville was trounced by Founders Classical Academy (Leander, TX), 70-52, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Jaguars battle the Valor North Austin Lions (Austin, TX) in a Freelance contest, on Tuesday, January 14. NYOS Charter will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 2-8 record after their 50-25 non-league win over IDEA Parmer Park (Austin, TX).
