The Lakeview Sailors basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting Sharpsville Blue Devils to 30 in the Sailors league triumph on Friday.

The Sailors now possess a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to Greenville for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 14. Lakeview will confront a Trojans team coming off a 61-35 non-league win over Wilmington (New Wilmington, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 4-8.

With the loss, Sharpsville falls to 5-9 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to West Middlesex (West Middlesex, PA) to confront the Big Reds in a District 10 Region 2 game on Tuesday, January 14. The Big Reds go into the game with a record of 3-9. West Middlesex lost 62-20 in their recent non-league game against Central Valley (Monaca, PA)
