In Friday's league test, the Saratoga Falcons (Saratoga, CA) basketball squad got by the visiting Lynbrook Vikings (San Jose, CA), by a score of 56-50.

Next, the Falcons encounter the Monta Vista Matadors (Cupertino, CA) in a Santa Clara Valley - El Camino test, on Wednesday, January 15. Saratoga will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record. The Matadors come into the test with a 10-2 record after their 67-60 league win over Santa Clara (Santa Clara, CA).
