Nevada High School Basketball - Spanish Springs triumphant over McQueen

January 10, 2025: Reno, NV 89523

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Spanish Springs Cougars (Sparks, NV) and the host McQueen Lancers (Reno, NV), observed Spanish Springs's basketball team overwhelm McQueen by a margin of 66-32.

The Cougars (11-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Reed (Sparks, NV). The Raiders come into the 4A Northern challenge with a 6-9 record. In their last challenge, Reed trounced Truckee (Truckee, CA), 50-46, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Lancers battle the Reno Huskies (Reno, NV) in a 4A Northern challenge, on Monday, January 13. McQueen will attempt to better on its 9-7 season record. The Huskies go into the bout with a 11-5 record after their 60-48 league loss to Bishop Manogue (Reno, NV).
