With the victory, Mira Costa advances its record to 19-0 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Canyon (Anaheim, CA) to face the Comanches in a non-league match on Saturday, January 11. The Comanches enter the match with a record of 14-4. Canyon won 63-61 in their recent league match against Cypress (Cypress, CA)

The Panthers now own a 7-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wiseburn- Da Vinci for a Bay match on Tuesday, January 14. Peninsula will face a Wolves squad coming off a 52-49 league win over Palos Verdes (Palos Verdes Estates, CA). The Wolves record now stands at 14-6.
