In Friday's league contest, the host Morris Knolls Golden Eagles basketball team scored a close 45-44 triumph over the West Morris Mendham Minutemen.

The Golden Eagles (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Hackettstown (Hackettstown, NJ). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 4-2 record.
