In Friday's non-league contest, the host Morristown Colonials basketball team scored a close 71-67 triumph over the Roxbury Gaels.
The Colonials (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Mount Olive (Flanders, NJ). The Marauders go into the Freelance contest with a 2-5 record.
In their next game, the Gaels battle the Parsippany Hills Vikings (Parsippany, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 14. Roxbury will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record. The Vikings go into the contest with a 2-7 record after their 59-25 non-league loss to Morris Hills (Rockaway, NJ).
