Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Mt. Pleasant succumbs to Southmoreland

The Southmoreland Scotties defeated the visiting Mt. Pleasant Vikings basketball squad by a final score of 70-52 in Friday's non-league outing.

Next, the Scotties clash with the Brownsville Falcons (Brownsville, PA) in a WPIAL 3A 4 outing, on Tuesday, January 14. Southmoreland will attempt to upgrade on its 10-2 season record. The Falcons come into the outing with a 1-7 record after their 66-31 league loss to Charleroi (Charleroi, PA).

The Vikings (0-8) will now prepare for their outing against Geibel Catholic (Connellsville, PA). The Gators come into the non-league outing with a 7-5 record.
