In Friday's league test, the West Burlington Falcons (West Burlington, IA) basketball squad trounced the host New London Tigers (New London, IA), by a score of 86-50.
Next, the Falcons clash with the Mediapolis Bulldogs (Mediapolis, IA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, January 14. West Burlington will attempt to improve on its 11-0 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 8-3 record after their 71-61 non-league win over Danville (Danville, IA).
The Tigers (0-12) will now prepare for their test against WACO (Wayland, IA). The Warriors come into the SEI - South test with a 6-2 record. In their last test, WACO was overwhelmed by North Linn (Troy Mills, IA), 60-40, in a non-league match.
